Impactite

Impactites are rocks that have been created as a result of an impact event, such as a meteorite strike. The force of the impact creates shockwaves that cause the Rock to melt and fuse together.

Impactites can be found all over the world, but are especially common in areas known as impact craters. These craters are usually circular in shape and can be several kilometers in diameter. Impactites come in many different colors and can be either glassy or crystalline in texture. They are often used as gemstones, and their unique appearance makes them highly sought-after by collectors.

Impactites are a beautiful and fascinating reminder of the power of nature.
