Erythrite

Erythrite is a mineral that can be found in a variety of colors, ranging from pink to purple. Its name comes from the Greek word for red, erythros.

Erythrite is sometimes called “cobalt bloom,” as it often contains small amounts of cobalt. The mineral has a long history of use, dating back to ancient times. It was used as a pigment in paints and dyes, and was also believed to have medicinal properties.

Today, erythrite is still used as a pigment, but is relatively rare. It is also used in crystal healing, as it is thought to promote peace and balance.
